The People Services Coordinator supports the employee lifecycle from sourcing and hiring through employee changes and termination. This role combines Recruiting Coordination and People Operations, giving you responsibility for the transactions, scheduling, documentation, and system updates that keep People processes moving.
You will work across Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, hiring teams, and other partners to make sure candidate and employee information is accurate, deadlines are met, and handoffs are clear. You will also support process improvements and People Services projects as the team evolves.
This is a remote U.S. contract position with an anticipated duration of 6–12 months.
Coordinate interviews, scheduling, logistics, and candidate communications across hiring teams.
Prepare offer letters and coordinate required approvals using approved hiring and compensation information.
Open, update, and close requisitions and maintain accurate candidate and hiring records in the ATS.
Process employee transactions in the HCM, including new hires, employee changes, transfers, and terminations.
Support onboarding and other employee lifecycle processes, making sure required information and documentation are complete.
Maintain accurate headcount, requisition, candidate, and employee data across People systems.
Review data for missing or inconsistent information and resolve or escalate issues before they affect downstream processes.
Respond to routine People Services requests and connect employees or managers with the right subject matter expert when needed.
Support light project management by tracking tasks, deadlines, decisions, and follow-up across People initiatives.
Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, job aids, and templates.
Support reporting, audits, system testing, and process changes across Talent Acquisition and People Operations.
Identify recurring workflow or system issues and help improve how work moves across People Services.
You are highly organized and follow work through to completion.
You communicate clearly with candidates, employees, recruiters, hiring managers, and business partners.
You pay close attention to details and understand the impact of accurate employee and candidate data.
You handle confidential information with care and sound judgment and discretion.
You can manage multiple priorities while staying responsive and accurate.
You identify issues early, solve what you can, and involve the right partners when needed.
You follow established processes while looking for practical ways to make them clearer or more efficient.
You work well across teams and help create smooth handoffs throughout the employee lifecycle.
Required
2+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, Recruiting Coordination, Talent Operations, or a related role.
Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee transactions, or other employee lifecycle processes.
Experience working in an applicant tracking system, HCM, HRIS, or similar People technology platform.
Experience managing detailed, time-sensitive work across multiple stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential candidate and employee information with discretion.
Ability to identify routine process issues and coordinate resolution.
Preferred
Experience supporting both recruiting and People Operations processes.
Experience preparing offers, managing requisitions, or supporting headcount administration.
Experience processing employee changes or terminations in an HCM or HRIS.
Experience documenting processes or maintaining standard operating procedures.
Experience supporting projects, system testing, implementations, or process improvements.
