As Director of Technical Program Management, you will lead the TPM organization responsible for delivering hyperscale data center construction programs. This role exists to ensure consistent, predictable execution across all projects while scaling the TPM function to support company growth.
You will define the operating model, establish program governance, and lead a team of TPMs responsible for end-to-end delivery from pre-construction through commissioning and operational handover. Your work directly impacts project performance, delivery consistency, and the scalability of Switch’s construction operations.
Define and implement the operating model for the Construction TPM organization.
Establish program management standards, governance frameworks, reporting structures, and KPIs.
Drive consistency in execution across projects, regions, and teams.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lessons learned and industry best practices.
Oversee delivery of multiple concurrent large-scale construction programs.
Serve as the executive escalation point for program risks, delays, and execution challenges.
Partner with executive leadership to align program delivery with company growth strategy.
Represent the TPM organization in executive reviews and customer-facing engagements.
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing TPM team.
Define workforce planning, hiring strategy, and organizational structure for the TPM function.
Establish performance expectations, accountability frameworks, and development pathways.
Ensure disciplined execution across schedule, cost, quality, and risk management.
Travel 30–40% as required.
This position may require the candidate/employee to undergo additional background checks and drug screenings prior to and during the course of employment in support of customer-specific deployments.

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
12–15+ years of experience managing large-scale construction or infrastructure programs.
Experience delivering hyperscale or mission-critical projects.
Experience leading program management teams across multiple projects or regions.
Experience operating at executive reporting and governance levels.
Strong understanding of construction lifecycle from pre-construction through handover.
Proven ability to manage complex, multi-project portfolios.
Preferred:
PMP certification.
Experience in data center or large-scale infrastructure environments.
Experience implementing program management frameworks at scale.
