The Role: Senior Oracle HCM Technical Lead
As a Sr. Oracle HCM Technical Lead, you own the technical design, configuration, integration, and ongoing support of Switch's Oracle HCM platform. You lead the technical implementation and optimization of Oracle HCM while ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable solutions that support Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and other business functions.
Working within the Enterprise Applications team, you partner with People Services, Information Technology, Security, and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions. Your work ensures the Oracle HCM platform integrates effectively with enterprise applications, supports business operations, and continues to evolve with organizational needs.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the technical configuration, administration, and optimization of Oracle HCM and related technologies.
- Design, develop, and support integrations between Oracle HCM and enterprise applications.
- Configure and maintain security roles, data access, and technical controls that support business and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain data conversion, migration, and interface processes.
- Support technical design for new Oracle HCM functionality, enhancements, and module implementations.
- Partner with functional analysts to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead technical testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and deployment validation.
- Manage Oracle HCM quarterly releases by evaluating new functionality, assessing impacts, coordinating technical testing, and supporting production deployments.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and resolve root causes.
- Develop technical documentation, integration specifications, and support procedures.
- Establish technical standards and best practices for Oracle HCM configuration, integrations, and data management.
- Partner with infrastructure, security, and enterprise application teams to maintain platform reliability and performance.
- Support technical governance, audit readiness, and compliance with security and privacy requirements.
- Evaluate technical solutions that improve automation, scalability, and system performance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and project teams.

What You’ll Bring
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise HCM applications or enterprise business systems.
- 5+ years of hands-on technical experience supporting Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Experience configuring and supporting Oracle HCM technical components, integrations, security, and data migration.
- Experience developing and supporting integrations between enterprise applications.
- Experience working with APIs, web services, file-based integrations, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, and production releases.
- Strong understanding of application security, data management, and system performance.
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues across integrated enterprise applications.
- Experience partnering with functional teams to deliver business solutions.

- Experience supporting multiple Oracle HCM modules.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud or similar enterprise integration technologies.
- Experience developing technical reports, extracts, and data interfaces.
- Experience supporting cloud-based enterprise applications in a large or complex organization.
- Experience with SQL, XML, JSON, or related technologies used in enterprise application development.
- Experience supporting identity management, security administration, or enterprise authentication.
- Oracle Cloud certifications or related technical certifications.
