The Role: Lead Customer Success Project Manager, Data Center Services

The Lead Customer Success Project Manager is responsible for delivering complex customer deployments across Switch data center campuses.

You manage the full project lifecycle from contract execution through operational turnover. This includes coordinating internal teams, maintaining schedule and financial performance, and ensuring customers have a clear and predictable deployment experience.

This role works closely with Sales, Construction, Engineering, and Operations to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within scope.

What You’ll Do

• Lead complex customer deployments from contract execution through operational turnover

• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and project milestones across multiple concurrent projects

• Serve as the primary customer contact and escalation point during deployment

• Coordinate execution across Sales, Construction, Engineering, and Operations teams

• Interpret customer contracts to ensure scope, service commitments, and change management are handled correctly

• Monitor project financials including revenue tracking, cost management, and forecast accuracy

• Identify and resolve risks that may impact delivery timelines, financial performance, or customer experience

• Provide clear project updates to customers and internal stakeholders

• Maintain accurate project documentation and governance within Salesforce, Smartsheet, and related systems

• Capture lessons learned and improve deployment processes over time

What You’ll Bring

Required:

• 7+ years of project management experience delivering complex infrastructure or technology deployments

• Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects with full lifecycle accountability

• PMP certification

• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in high-availability or mission-critical environments

• Strong project planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience delivering data center deployments or similar infrastructure projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field

• Experience managing customer-facing deployment programs

• Experience with Salesforce, Smartsheet, or similar project tracking platforms

Technical Skills:

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

• Experience building schedules, dashboards, and executive-level reporting

• Ability to track project financials and maintain accurate forecasting
