As the BIM Manager at Switch, you own the development and integrity of our Mechanical and Plumbing Revit environment. You ensure our models, templates, and content meet Switch standards and support design, construction, product development, and digital twin workflows. This role connects project execution with long-term BIM standards, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and usable data across teams. You act as the technical lead for BIM content and model governance.
Create and maintain Switch Mechanical and Plumbing Revit template models used across projects
Translate Product Development SolidWorks content into accurate, usable Revit counterparts
Create, update, and govern proprietary Revit families within the Switch BIM Content Library
Ensure Revit content includes required parametric data and metadata to support downstream workflows
Provide milestone-based Revit model updates to the Digital Twin team
Advise on BIM requirements within BEPs, EIRs, RFPs, and project scope documentation
Capture workflow gaps from project teams and recommend improvements to the BIM Director
Coordinate BIM support needs across active projects and align coverage with project milestones
Ensure final BIM and drawing deliverables are compliant and submitted to the Document Control team for Data Center Library integration
Support internal conceptual modeling efforts for new designs and innovation initiatives
Operates with precision in mission-critical environments
Communicates requirements clearly and directly
Takes ownership of standards and follows through to completion
Identifies workflow risks early and proposes practical solutions
Collaborates across engineering, construction, and product teams
Maintains high documentation and data integrity standards
Acts as a reliable technical resource others depend on
Required
7–10 years of experience working in BIM, with strong focus on Revit for MEP systems
Experience building and managing Revit templates and custom families
Working knowledge of BIM execution plans and project documentation standards
Experience coordinating BIM workflows across design and construction teams
Strong understanding of parametric modeling and structured data within Revit
Preferred
Experience translating SolidWorks models into Revit environments
Experience supporting digital twin or facilities lifecycle workflows
Familiarity with large-scale, mission-critical, or data center projects
