This role owns the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of Switch’s IT Service Management practices. You are responsible for ensuring IT services are delivered consistently, transparently, and in alignment with business needs. The role balances process ownership, cross-functional coordination, and people leadership in a hybrid, mission-critical environment.
Own and continuously improve IT Service Management processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Configuration Management.
Establish and enforce ITIL-aligned standards and operating procedures across the enterprise.
Support and facilitate the Change Advisory Board, ensuring changes are reviewed, approved, and implemented with appropriate risk controls.
Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, inventory, compliance, audits, and retirement.
Define and maintain ITSM policies, procedures, and documentation to support a scalable and audit-ready environment.
Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs that provide clear insight into service performance and improvement opportunities.
Partner with Infrastructure, Security, Applications, and Helpdesk teams to align service delivery and resolve systemic issues.
Lead and develop ITSM team members, setting expectations, providing feedback, and supporting professional growth.
Identify process gaps, lead root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
Balance operational priorities with longer-term service improvement initiatives.
A manager who brings structure, consistency, and accountability to service delivery.
Strong judgment when managing risk, change, and service-impacting events.
Clear, direct communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-availability environment.
A practical, improvement-focused mindset grounded in real operational outcomes.
5+ years of experience managing IT service delivery in a complex or hybrid environment.
Hands-on experience owning ITSM processes and driving adoption across teams.
Strong working knowledge of ITIL frameworks, with practical implementation experience.
Experience supporting enterprise change control and asset management programs.
Ability to design metrics, analyze trends, and translate data into action.
Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
Proven ability to partner with technical teams and business stakeholders.
Ability to balance strategic direction with day-to-day execution.
ITIL certification or equivalent process or project management credentials are preferred.
