The Role: Oracle CapEx Planning and Execution Lead

As an Oracle CapEx Planning and Execution Lead at Switch, you will be part of a world-class team that operates in excellence, delivering mission-critical solutions that redefine what’s possible in AI, cloud and enterprise data center needs. Your work will directly impact the future of technology and the sustainable growth of the Internet.

Switch is modernizing its core operations, and this role will lead the design, implementation, and testing of Oracle Fusion ERP. In the first year, you’ll focus on rolling out key modules that streamline processes and build the foundation for growth. Beyond implementation, you’ll shape how Switch uses ERP to drive innovation, efficiency, and smarter decisions.

What You’ll Do

Specific responsibilities include the following:

  • Support the day-to-day operations of Oracle Fusion PPM modules.
  • Provide end-user support for project setup, task structures, resource assignments, costing, and billing.
  • Perform reconciliations between PPM, GL, and subledgers to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, and billing transactions; resolve exceptions.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using OTBI, BI Publisher, and Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW).
  • Partner with Finance/PMO to define and deliver KPIs (e.g., margins, backlog, utilization).
  • Support regression testing during quarterly Oracle SaaS updates.
  • Maintain project master data, templates, and reporting metadata.
  • Train end users on reporting tools and best practices.
  • Document processes, reporting standards, and support runbooks.

What You'll Bring

  • 5–7 years of experience in finance/project accounting and reporting/analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion PPM (Project Costing, Billing, Resource Mgmt) and reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting concepts (budgeting, WIP, revenue recognition).
  • Skilled in financial data analysis, reconciliations, and KPI reporting.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and end-user support skills.
  • Strong communication skills to partner with Finance, PMO, and IT.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or Information Systems.
