The Role: Oracle ERP Cloud Environment & Technical Lead

As an Oracle ERP Cloud Environment & Technical Lead at Switch, you will be part of a world-class team that operates in excellence, delivering mission-critical solutions that redefine what’s possible in AI, cloud and enterprise data center needs. Your work will directly impact the future of technology and the sustainable growth of the Internet.

Switch is modernizing its core operations, and this role will serve as the technical authority for Oracle Fusion ERP and its supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments. In the first year, you’ll focus on establishing a stable, secure, and scalable ERP foundation across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD. Beyond stabilization, you’ll shape governance, automation, and optimization strategies that enable long-term growth, operational excellence, and smarter enterprise decision-making.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

  • Serve as the technical owner of Oracle Fusion ERP and supporting OCI environments (DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD), ensuring platform stability, security, and performance.
  • Administer OCI components including IAM, networking, compartments, policies, and cloud resource governance supporting ERP integrations and extensions.
  • Govern environment lifecycle management, including instance refreshes, cloning, migration controls, deployment standards, and quarterly Oracle updates.
  • Monitor system health, integration reliability, and cloud infrastructure performance, proactively addressing risks and optimization opportunities.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for critical technical and environment-related incidents.
  • Partner with functional, security, and GRC teams to align enhancements, access controls, and compliance requirements with architectural standards.
  • Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and governance frameworks while tracking SLAs and KPIs to ensure operational excellence.
  • Contribute to the ERP technical roadmap, driving improvements in scalability, automation, and cloud optimization.

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years ERP technical experience (Fusion, EBS, or equivalent).
  • Expertise in Oracle Fusion ERP tools (OIC, BIP, OTBI, VBCS, APEX).
  • Experience administering Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including IAM, networking, and environment governance.
  • Experience with Oracle SaaS quarterly updates, testing automation, environment refreshes, and DevOps practices.
  • Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and vendor management experience.
  • Understanding of ITIL service management and incident escalation frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering. ITIL certification preferred.
