Marketing Analyst & Email Automation Specialist

Location: Las Vegas, NV

General Purpose of the Position:

As the Marketing Analyst & Email Automation Specialist you will be primarily responsible for marketing and sales analytics, email campaign automation and contact strategy. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have an aptitude for problem solving with a strong technical and analytical skill set. This individual will report to the Senior Director of Marketing with a dotted line to the Vice President of Marketing.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

MARKETING DATA ANALYTICS 

  • Work with key stakeholders to understand requirements, gather data and develop analytic solutions
  • Manage, tag, audit, visualize and report on weekly web leads data from switch.com/datafoundry.com
  • Analyze marketing and sales data to identify trends, insights to optimize marketing and inform strategy
  • Audit leads weekly to ensure timely lead assignment, disqualification and conversion of lead status
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Blend and visualize multiple sets of data across company systems
  • Create and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators
  • Assist with tagging and segmenting all campaign leads in Salesforce CRM
  • Assist with auditing automated form entries between website database and sales CRM
  • Manage special projects to understand consumer behavior and to define target customer profiles
  • Conduct competitive analysis and consumer research as needed

EMAIL MARKETING AUTOMATION 

  • Develop, implement and manage email marketing campaigns from conception to execution
  • Build prospecting lists and segment audiences using B2B database intelligence tools
  • Format, clean and prepare csv lists for import and syncing to email platforms (Pardot, Outreach.io)
  • Manage tagging, organizing and segmentation of lists for marketing communications
  • Build, test and schedule email templates and workflows in Pardot
  • Conduct A/B testing on email campaigns to identify the most effective strategies for optimization
  • Track and measure performance between email platforms (Pardot/Outreach) and CRM
  • Organize and assist with updating opt out preferences across various communication platforms
  • Ensure all communications are GDPR and CAN-SPAM compliant to adhere to marketing best practices

Required Job Skills:

  • Strong project management, communication, organization and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to solve problems and attention to detail are key
  • Proficient in analyzing data, interpreting results and translating insights into actionable recommendation
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond dynamically to change
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Experience in B2B marketing

 

Computer Equipment and Software:

  • Proficiency in email automation platforms, CRM systems, analytics software and data visualization tools
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana and webinar platforms
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template customization is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce, Pardot, Data Studio (Looker), Survey Monkey, Power BI, Hubspot is a plus
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Excel

 

Education and Experience:

Education:        Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, BI/analytics, or quantitative discipline

Experience:      3-5+ years of experience in email marketing automation, digital/social media, data analytics
