Marketing Operations & Corporate Events Specialist

Location: Las Vegas, NV

General Purpose of the Position:

As the Marketing Operations & Corporate Events Specialist you will utilize your expertise in marketing administration and project management skills to lead marketing campaigns, manage creative projects, oversee corporate events and support social media efforts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects align with business objectives. Strong organizational, communication and multitasking skills are essential. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing and works closely with the Senior Director of Marketing.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

MARKETING OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

  • Lead the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and events, managing timelines, budgets, resources and deliverables
  • Own the project management of all marketing initiatives (social media, digital, email marketing, events)
  • Manage marketing projects in Asana in collaboration with the Branding team
  • Support sales with lead management including prospect research and lead qualification
  • Manage the marketing calendar for campaigns, corporate events and investor/lender engagements
  • Assist with social media copywriting and ads, moderate comments and respond to inbox inquiries
  • Track KPIs across corporate social media profiles and monitor account performance
  • Provide the sales team with updates on social media posts to amplify business communications
  • Create UTM tracking URLs with consistent naming conventions for accurate reporting
  • Build email contact lists in third-party database tools as needed
  • Support public relations activities for the company’s Newsroom
  • Provide administrative support as required

EVENT PLANNING & EXECUTION 

  • Coordinate external and out-of-market events to support colocation, telecom, AI and hyperscale sales
  • Manage conferences, client events, webinars, out-of-market corporate/investor/lender engagements 
  • Oversee all event coordination including event planning, booth activation, speaker management, etc.
  • Manage all creative assets for event activation (posters, banners, videos, signage, AV, etc.)
  • Initiate purchase orders, vendor setup, sponsorship agreements and process payment for all vendors
  • Track and manage event budgets to ensure all events stay within budget guidelines
  • Coordinate pre and post event marketing activities such as email and social media promotions
  • Gather and report performance results post-event (contacts acquired, meetings booked, tours, etc.)
  • Conduct post-event debriefs to evaluate success, identify lessons learned and suggest improvements

Required Job Skills:

  • Proven track record of managing multi-channel marketing campaigns and large-scale events
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices
  • Problem solver with ability to work effectively under pressure and respond dynamically to change
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template customization is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • B2B marketing experience is a plus

 

Computer Equipment and Software:

  • Proficient in marketing tools, including CRM, email automation platforms, project management software

 

Education and Experience:

Education:        Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, hospitality, or a related field

Experience:      3-5+ years of experience in project management, email marketing, digital/social media and events
