As a Real Estate Paralegal, you will support commercial real estate transactions for data center development. This role exists to ensure transactions are organized, compliant, and completed on schedule.
You will manage due diligence, coordinate closings, and support documentation across multiple projects. You will work closely with legal, development, and external partners to keep transactions moving and resolve issues early.
Review title commitments, exceptions, endorsements, ALTA surveys, zoning reports, and UCC searches.
Identify and track title issues, easements, encumbrances, and restrictive covenants.
Coordinate resolution of title and survey issues with title companies, surveyors, landowners, and outside counsel.
Prepare and manage due diligence checklists and document workflows.
Coordinate all aspects of commercial real estate closings.
Prepare closing deliverables including checklists, escrow instructions, signature packages, and closing statements.
Manage post-closing activities such as recordings, title policy finalization, and issue resolution.
Draft and review standard real estate documents under attorney supervision, including NDAs, easements, affidavits, memoranda, estoppels, and SNDAs.
Support entity formation documents, corporate resolutions, and required filings.
Maintain organized transaction files and track deadlines, contingencies, and deliverables.
Support real estate development activities, including utility and access easements and telecom rights-of-way.
Maintain transaction calendars and coordinate multi-state closings.
Communicate with internal stakeholders, attorneys, engineers, and title professionals.
You maintain strong attention to detail across complex transactions.
You manage multiple deals while meeting deadlines.
You communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
You identify issues early and drive resolution.
You stay organized in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
You take ownership of your work and follow through to completion.
Required:
5+ years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal.
Experience reviewing title commitments, ALTA surveys, and due diligence materials.
Experience coordinating and closing commercial real estate transactions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems.
Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
Preferred:
Experience supporting data center, industrial, or utility-related development.
Familiarity with easements, rights-of-way, and multi-parcel developments.
Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
Experience with multi-state transactions and post-closing processes.
