The Role: Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst at Switch, you will be part of a world-class team that operates in excellence, delivering mission-critical solutions that redefine what’s possible in AI, cloud and enterprise data center needs. Your work will directly impact the future of technology and the sustainable growth of the Internet.

As a talented and motivated Data Analyst joining our data operations team, you will collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to develop and deliver data products that drive business insights and innovation.

What You’ll Do

• Perform detailed analysis of complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Work closely with data engineers to ensure data integrity, quality, and accuracy, providing input on key metrics and requirements.
• Partner with data scientists to develop and visualize predictive models using the latest AI and ML techniques.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Analyze data and communicate findings and insights to stakeholders to enable informed business decision-making.
• Develop compelling data visualizations to help stakeholders understand complex data.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of methodologies, processes, data calculations and definitions.
• Drive next-level innovation in Product Development to support our mission-critical infrastructure.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-impact environment where execution is key.
• Leverage cutting-edge technology and sustainable design principles to create world-class solutions.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to influence and partner with executive leadership to drive strategy and execution.
• Experience fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term vision with operational execution.
