The Role: Technical Project Manager

As a Technical Project Manager at Switch, you will be part of a world-class team that operates in excellence, delivering mission-critical solutions that redefine what’s possible in AI, cloud and enterprise data center needs. Your work will directly impact the future of technology and the sustainable growth of the Internet.

As the Technical Project Manager in Las Vegas you will oversee the development and deployment of enterprise applications that will support a new service offering. Your responsibilities will involve coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring the successful implementation of technology solutions that meet business objectives.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage technology projects from initiation to completion, capturing and measuring success metrics and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and change management.
• Work closely with executives, business stakeholders, system implementation partners, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
• Oversee external vendor management by maintaining vendor relationships, monitoring performance, and tracking progress against negotiated contracts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements for application initiatives.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project is executed on time.
• Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and create success metrics that align with business outcomes.
• Establish and continuously evaluate project management processes, tools, and methodologies
• Drive next-level innovation in Product Development to support our mission-critical infrastructure.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-impact environment where execution is key.
• Leverage cutting-edge technology and sustainable design principles to create world-class solutions.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager in managing enterprise application projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including scrum and agile.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
• Experience with enterprise application implementation.
• Passionate about health and fitness.
• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
• Ability to influence and partner with executive leadership to drive strategy and execution.
• Experience fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term vision with operational execution.
